9th Week Master Key Training

Time sure does go fast any more.  I can’t believe its nearing the end of November already.  & Thanksgiving is this week.  This whole year went pretty fast.  But it seems when we hit fall, with the holidays coming up, the rest of the year really flies by.

I’m falling behind on the class work, about a week or so behind.  But I’m hoping with the holiday & longer weekend, that I’ll hopefully be able to get caught up.  I’ve been mostly keeping up with the readings, sits & index cards.  But I’m about a week or so behind in the chapter/lessons & exercises.  I missed chapter 7/lesson 7 a couple weeks ago.  & instead of trying to combine that in with chapter 8, I just skipped it for the time being.  Knowing the holiday & longer weekend was coming up.

I still need to make my vision board, which I think was a part of chapter/lesson 7 or maybe chapter/lesson 6.  But I also still need to make a recording of my DMP with background music.  & I’m not really sure how I’m going to do that since I don’t have a recorder or smartphone to use to make it with.  I’ll have to see if there is some way I can maybe use my computer for that.

I liked the read in chapter/lesson 9 this week. I like the affirmation Haanel says …..  “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy”, which I have above in the picture.  I also like what he says when something of negativity like anger, fear or worry happen, to say your affirmations.  Which we could use as part of the 7 day diet, of not thinking negative.  The way to fight darkness is with light — the way to fight cold is with heat — the way to overcome evil is with good.  So, maybe try to fight the negativity with saying positive affirmations.

I also like another part where he said …  Whatever you desire for yourself, affirm it for others, and it will help you both. We reap what we sow.  And …  If our predominant mental attitude is one of power, courage, kindness and sympathy, we shall find that our environment will reflect conditions in correspondence with these thoughts.  But it also works the other way too, with negativity.

Thoughts are causes and conditions are effects, aka, the law of cause & effect.  This week we are to use our thoughts and visualize a plant or flower.  We are to visualize or see in our minds, planting the seed, watering it, giving it sunlight, watching the seed burst open & the stem start to sprout out, the roots penetrate the ground, branching out in all directions.  Remembering they are living cells dividing & subdividing, that they are intelligent & know what they want & how to get it.  Then visualize it starting to grow branches & soon a bud & how perfect everything is about it.  Then see the bud open into a beautiful flower & concentrate intently & become conscious of the fragrance.

This is to help us with our concentration.  Since most success are accomplished from persistent concentration of the object in view.  So we will be able to concentrate on what we want/need, to help us become successful.

I’m starting to see some things coming together.  How the things are linked together.  & I think once I can get caught up to where I should be, I’ll feel a lot better.
